Dubai Civil Defense has turned off the lights at GHQ’ premises, and its affiliated fire stations, on Saturday 27/03/2021, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm, local time as part of participating in “Earth Hour” initiative, in a bid to embedding the awareness’s importance of the environment preservation. {Play}

In the Presence of Brig. Bin Aadid and in Association with TMC, DCD’S Frontline Heroes Receive COVID19 First Jab {Play}

Dubai Civil Defense frontline heroes and employees received COVID 19 vaccination first jab, in the presence and supervision of His Excellency Brig. Jamal Bin Aadid AL Meheiri, assist. Director-General for Resources and Supportive Services and Col. Suleiman Abdulkarim Al Bloushi, Director of Technical Affairs Department, as part of the campaign organized by Public Health Section(PHS) at Civil Protection Department and Epidemic Investigative Team (EIT) in association with Tadawi Medical Center (TMC).
The launched campaign started at AL Qusais Fire Station and will continue in Nad AL Shiba until Monday, February 1 .2021.
The campaign comes inconsistent with the efforts and plans of the Ministry of Health and Prevention Dubai Health Authority, which encompass providing COVID 19 vaccination to the frontline and different other community sectors, as part of a comprehensive vaccination program set to cover the whole country, to control Corona pandemic.
He (Brig. Jamal) indicated that vaccinating fire and rescue frontline and employees reflects wise Government concern about the society, and its keenness to provide the highest safety and security levels.
Jamal hailed the prominent role played by the Epidemic investigative team to monitor the pandemic and mitigate its effects on employees and community sectors, and seamless efforts exerted with the Public Health section to ensure COVID 19 vaccination availability and enhancing the strategic partnership with TMC, as a strategic partner in the medical field, and other arrangements it sets to activate the partnership and stresses mutual joint cooperation.  {Play}

DCD, Dubai Ambulance Corporation Conduct “Incidents Management Innovative Sharing System in the emirate of Dubai” Workshop” DCD, Dubai Ambulance Corporation Conduct “Incidents Management Innovative Sharing System in the emirate of Dubai” Workshop In the presence of His Excellency Khalifah Bin Darai, CEO of Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation and Col. Expert Rashid Hussain Al Sumiati, Director of Al Quoz Fire Station, the “Incidents Management Innovative Sharing System in the emirate of Dubai” Workshop was carried out by Dubai Civil Defense in association with Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, held workshop within Dubai Innovation Week Activities, taking place during “Emirates Month of Innovation”, which was approved by the wise leadership, in its continuous efforts to fostering UAE’S position within the most innovative countries worldwide. The workshop was held at Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation main building and attended by high-ranking leadership from both sides, to discuss fundamentals pivots of the workshop, that addressing incidents management system and response, reviewing the important strategic challenges faced by fire and rescue squads and ambulance teams during incidents. Col. Al Sumaiti emphasized that the workshop symbolizes strategic directives of our wise leadership, which works tirelessly to embedding innovation method and making it part of the effective pillars of development operations sustainability and keeping abreast with other government entities, as both DCD and DASC are working to enhancing cooperation in all joint fields, and implementing innovative initiatives to delivering the best ever services and ensuring community sects happiness. For her part, Lady Afaf Jassim Al Muheiri, Director of Strategy and Future Department has noted that the workshop covered all strategic aspects related to the Incidents management system, to achieve innovation anticipated goals, including the strategic objective, achieving life quality, and Dubai emirate competitiveness to accomplish global leadership in accordance to best standards and global indicators. She also added the stages of a customer’s reports response journey are determined as well, and how the incident is managed, orders are issued during the incidents, and how specialized working teams from both entities are named to identify developmental initiatives. Attendees from Dubai Civil Defense include Major Ali Al Falasi, Director of Fire Stations Department, Major Omer Mubarak BalJaflah, Head of Disasters and Crisis Section, Lt. Khalid Rashid Bin Salman, Lady Huawida Bin Touq, acting Director of Government Communication Department, Lady Maryam Bin Goleta, Head of Innovation Section and concerns from other departments. While attendees from Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation were Dr. Ayesha Al Mutawaa, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence Office, Mr. Nader Al Muheiri, Director of Operations Department, Mr. Majid Al Zarouni, Head of Ambulance Emergency Operations Section, and concerned from other departments.   {Play}

His Excellency Brig. Expert Ali Hassan Al Mutawaa, assist. Director-General for Fire and Rescue Affairs has reviewed the vaccination process set for vaccinating fire and rescue frontline heroes against Novel Corona Virus (COVID19), held at Nad Alshiba fire station by Dubai Civil Defense in association with the Ministry of Health and Prevention.During his visit to the campaign center Al Mutawaa received a detailed briefing from campaign supervisors, representing Civil Protection Department “Public Health Section”, and the epidemic investigative team.He (Al Mutawaa) stressed that the move reflects Dubai Civil Defense's concern about employees and their health and wellbeing. {Play}

Al Matrooshi Inspects Vaccination Drive of DCD’S Frontline Heroes {Play}

His Excellency Maj. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense, has inspected vaccination drive running for firefighter frontline against Novel Coronavirus - COVID 19, three days long vaccination campaign is organized by “Public Health Section” at Civil Protection Department with epidemic investigative team Nad Alshiba fire station in cooperation Ministry of Health and Community Prevention.He (Al Matrooshi) praised the wise leadership concern about the health of citizens and residents, through its steps taken earlier to provide them with the vaccine, confirming that Dubai Civil Defense has targeted the frontline heroes and all other employees, as well as enhancing safety-related precautionary measures.He also praised the valued efforts of the Health Ministry and its prominent contributions proved effective in combating the pandemic.ALMatrooshi was accompanied during the tour by Major Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Ali, director of Nad Alshiba fire station, 1st.Lt.
